Stuart McNeil is a Senior Lecturer for the Cardiff Metropolitan University, within the Department for Computing and Information Systems in the Cardiff School of Management where he is a year tutor for the BSc Software Engineering , BSc Computing and BSc Business Information Systems Undergraduate programmes.

He has previously worked within the interactive media sector for numerous years and gained awards including a BAFTA and other awards. Working with some of the UKs leading companies, developing creative solutions to the interactive problems of their trade. Stuart was the Managing Director of Deft Design for 17 years , this experience proved foundational in the understandings of directing a company. Additionally, Stuart was the Education Director and trustee for ‘Pedestrian Arts’ Charitable Non-Profit National Arts Company for 13 years. Judicially, Stuart reviews papers for and is a member of the British Computer Society, Human Computer Interface group and has been a Judge for BAFTA, The Golden Pixel Awards and the Celtic Film Festival .
